Shubman Gill is having a great time on-field, as after top scoring in the Anderson-Tendulkar Trophy, he was also named as the vice-captain in the Asia Cup 2025 squad. While on-field his life is on a roll, the spotlight is back on his off-field life. After dating rumors with Sachin Tendulkar's daughter Sara, the 25-year-old is back in the news, this time with a link-up with Bollywood Actor Varun Dhawan's niece Anjali.
A video was shared on the Instagram page Stargazeofficial, wherein Anjali was seen leaving a cafe in Mumbai with Gill. The page also claimed that she was with India's Test skipper, setting the social media ablaze with fresh dating rumors. However, there is official confirmation regarding the same from both the celebrities. Also, there is no evidence of the two being together on a dinner date, as the quality of the video is pretty unclear.

Notably, Gill recently spoke about his personal life a few months ago. In an interview, the Test skipper claimed that he has been single for more than three years. Addressing the constant scrutiny on his social life, the batter said:
"I mean, I've been single for over three years. There have been so many speculations and rumors, linking me with different people. And sometimes, it's so ridiculous that I would have never even seen or met that person ever in my life. And I would be hearing rumors that, 'I'm with this person and this person where else I'd be like'."
Spotlight on Shubman Gill's off-field life refuses to slow down
For the unversed, this is not the first time that the spotlight has been on Shubman Gill's life. Before this also he has also been linked with multiple women, ranging from actors to sports personalities. However, one name always stands out - Sara Tendulkar, as she is always been linked to the youngster. Recently, there was a small video clip of even Ravindra Jadeja teasing Gill of a lady. Whether that is Sara or someone else is not known yet.

Speaking about the on-field affairs, the Test skipper has also been named as vice-captain in the upcoming Asia Cup 2025 squad. He will be making a return to the shortest format after a year since last featuring in the T20I match against Zimbabwe in 2024.
