England Women will face off against India Women in the fourth T20I on Wednesday, July 9. The hosts made a comeback in the do-or-die match in the third T20I by beating the visitors in a close game. However, despite England's win, India still holds a significant advantage heading into the fourth T20I, as they lead the series 2-1.
The Harmanpreet Kaur-led side have shown absolute dominance so far in the three T20Is. A lot of players like Shree Charani, Arundhati Reddy, Smriti Mandhana, and Deepti Sharma have shown consistency and helped India perform well. India would be extremely happy with the performances of senior players like Deepti and Mandhana. The veterans have simply been superb in three T20Is, and have taken a lot of pressure off skipper Harmanpreet Kaur.

Despite losing regular skipper Nat Sciver-Brunt in the third T20I, the hosts showed fight and character to beat India in a vital match to stay alive in the series. For the hosts, Danni Wyatt-Hodge, Sophia Dunkley, and Amy Jones have shown consistency with bat in hand. However, the rest of the batters have not been able to show some form and temperament. In the bowling, besides veteran spinner Sophie Ecclestone, Lauren Bell has been good by getting early breakthroughs.

While the bowling has looked decent, it is the batting that has looked a touch vulnerable. In the absence of Sciver-Brunt, someone has to take ownership and deliver the goods in the remaining two T20Is. Meanwhile, for India, a slight hiccup in the third T20I should not deter confidence, as otherwise, they have looked more dominant than their opponents. India will be pleased with the form of all-rounder Reddy. The youngster is a seam bowling all-rounder which is a rare commodity in women's sport. Rodgriues is also amongst the runs and has shown she is adaptable as well.
